Description: Surprise! This is one of the first miniatures that I tried painting when I got back to painting in 2006. I originally started painting this for Wyrd Miniature's "Femme Fatale" contest in 2006, but could not finish it in time. I completed it for Wyrd Miniature's "Femme Fatale II" contest in 2007. I think that this miniature certainly fits both the Fem and Fatale parts of the contest. I discovered that (unless I am having problems with my paints) painting red is very difficult, although, in the end, I am happy with how it turned-out, as well as the freehand.

Description: Since this is a vintage 1987 sculpt, I wanted to try to do a little more with it. There is not much of interest on the model itself, so I mounted it to a Groundforge DARK-WAR INDUSTRO 30mm A base and used OSL to add interest to a relatively static pose. I tried to stay close to the original color scheme as I think that works better with the OSL. My first attempts at OSL were too subtle, so I tried a very stark OSL for this miniature. I think that I have to keep working on it. :( If anyone would give suggestions on improving the miniature, I would appreciate it. If anyone knows the item number and/or name for this miniature, I would appreciate it if you could tell me.

Description: Limited Edition Adepticon 2006 mini This mini was sculpted by Jen Haley for last year's Adepticon. Although intended for a WH40k setting (Adepticon), she's probably more at home in a SteamPunk world (e.g. Iron Kingdoms).

Description: Xerogeny was done for a coworker that plays World of Warcraft. Her character is a night elf and I did some greenstuffing to get her reasonably close to the in-game character. The skintones, pupil-less eyes, staff and clothing coloring are pretty close to what is seen online.
