Description: This is my second version of this lovely little (just above 20 mm tall) miniature from Hasslefree. I've wanted to do a second one ever since I finished my first version some two years ago. This time I used more colour and real metal paint. I'm quite happy with how it came out, and I'm really happy with the base work. I used some plastic H-beam strips and photo-etched barbed wire attached to the end of a cocktail stick. Pretty simple, really, but I really like the atmosphere. I introduced some of the colours of the miniature to the ground work as well, to get the colours to harmonise better. It's not extremely apparent, but it really works. Anyway, I hope you will like it!

Description: I painted up this beautifully sculpted bust from Kraken Edition's Artefactory line as part of my display for the World Expo in Girona, Spain this year (2008). The mail is absolutely gorgeous and lots of people into historicals came over to Kraken's booth to admire, and buy, this bust because of the mail. Anyway, it was a pure joy to paint... so much character. And, it ended up giving me a gold medal in Fantasy Master Painting.

Description: This is a 54 mm mini from Enigma that I painted as part of my display for World Expo in Girona this year (2008). It was finished 3 hours before heading out the door, so it gave me time to pack as well! :) Ended up giving me a gold medal in the Fantasy Master Painting category. Not entirely happy with the pics as it has more depth in real life.

Description: Here's a mini I started a few days ago when a friend of mine came over for a painting session. I was going to show him how to do metallics, or at least my way of doing metallics, so I needed a new mini to show everything from the start. Things went rather well with this mini and now it's finished, so for our next session I need to start a new mini. :) Hope you like it!

Description: Even though this sculpt has nothing whatsoever in common with Jedi knights ( :rolleyes: ) I decided to take inspiration from the Star Wars films when I painted it. ;) I wanted a base that resembles Tattooine and the clothing is inspired by Obi-Wan mostly.

Description: This is a special edition resin miniature for the Khaliman faction of the game Alkemy by French company Kraken Editions. It was available at the Kraken booth at Salon de Jeu in Paris this autumn. The miniature is sculpted by Jacques-Alexandre Gillois of Ilyad and Helldorado fame. This was painted for Matty1001. The wooden plinth is from Drafon Forge.

Orc buste

Description: This is a quite small little orc buste from French company JMD Miniatures. It is 35 mm from the top of the head to the bottom of the little thin base. The head is about 17 mm from top to chin. It was a fun piece to do and took me about 6 hours.

Description: This is my entry for Femme Fatale II. Lovely sculpt by Kev White. One of my absolute favourite sculpts, actually. Painted as a nymph in a forest setting. I wanted to achieve a clear sense of overhead lighting on this one. I think it came out pretty well. There's lots of subtle colour shifts in the skin, some of which you can actually see in the photo! :)

Description: The first mini I painted for Wyrd! I tried out an "underpainting" technique for the veins where I applied numerous skin colour glazes over the painted veins to make them appear to lie under the skin.
