Geez, with all these pirate minis being released you'd think there'd been a popular pirate movie showing at theaters or something....

30mm to eye level, this absolutely gorgeous figure sculpted by the legendary Tom Meier was won at an open auction by us a little while ago
It cost us an arm and a leg (well a mortgage payment actually!) and as well as this limited edition resin version ( 200 copies) he will join the Pirate range in white-metal in the next few months.
I have just spent 30 minutes writing up a lovely summary to go with this release and then the server crashed and i lost it all so this second description will be brief!
Captain Tom is a detailed dynamic figure with a swashbuckling flowing cloak and a nice sharp pointy sword to slay whomever he chooses.
Produced in 3 resin colour options: Blue resin with silver powder-coating ( 80 copies), black resin with bronze powder coating ( 80 copies) and a dark blue/grey un-powdered resin ( 40 copies). He comes packed in a nice sturdy tin to protect his fragility and the usual HF providence note.
Various discussions have taken place regarding choices of resin colours and the progress of the actual aution itself and can be found on the FOD here (http://heresyminiatures.com/forumofdoom/index.php?topic=2819.0) and here (http://heresyminiatures.com/forumofdoom/index.php?topic=2952.0) and here (http://heresyminiatures.com/forumofdoom/index.php?topic=3051.0).

This swashbucklin' dog be £10 a piece.
