Mine arrived yesterday afternoon, much to my surprise! I've got some cool stuff in it, but once again, there's a couple that I can't identify (though one I suspect is an Olley Orc). There's a muscled guy pointing with an axe in the other hand, his tab says "EFS 04" on the front and "BS 0002" on the back. Is that Eastern Front Studios? I've never seen this one in their catalogue (he practically screams "chaos warrior").

Ah well, much fun anyway! Thanks Nathan ;)

This one probably right? Yup, EFS from their Battlescars line.

Glad the package got there in good order. Take a picture and put it up if you need to and I'll be happy to point out your particular sponsors or who/what it is.

Yeah...received my package today!
I received the following two models:
Cyan Kira-Moura - Corvus Belli Warcrow

The King - Revelation Miniatures

Love both models...and especially The King. My Tamiya Clear Orange is already shaking and frothing...can't wait to do some serious weathering on the metallics.

Many thanks Nathan! And the candy was jummy:240:

Aww man, I didn't get candy!

I didn't know Eastern Front had a new line - I guess that's what I get for checking their front page for news, not their store!

Thanks for the ID. :)

A Wyrd Pandora (Score! I'll have to come up with something good for her )

and a

Manificent Egos Huntress, shes very different than what I usually work on so she should be interesting to paint.

Got mine as well the other day and I was VERY pleased. Some models looked like they had been hand picked for me! There were some I'd never seen and think are very interesting, so I've been checking out the sites, will have to put in orders at Magnificent Egos and Crunch-Waffle soon. There was one that I thought was really cool and everyone at my paint club loved, it was labeled Odin and he had one foot on a giant's head. Who did it?

Thanks again, this was a lot of fun!

Be sure to tell the sponsors that - helps a long way to securing folks for the next contest. :D

The Odin fella you are refering to is an ESF miniature (link below)

cutebutpsycho thanks glad you and your pals like the Odin :) the reason the Odin and the Chaos Fiend Jubilee recieved didnt have a backing was because we dont have those backings made yet but still wanted to see Nate got everything that we have made in the lines.. so we went ahead and sent them in without them.thanks again.

Glad to see the packages coming in and being enjoyed. Donna, big fella with the cigar is from Black Scorpion Miniatures.

If you haven't already, drop the sponsors a thank you note through the e-mail, that goes a long ways towards keeping sponsors interested and I'm sure they like to know they are appreciated.

Yes, thank you, Nathan. I got my VS package last week, and it's very nice. There's an Assassin goblin with a huge nose and a bigger grin, charging full-tilt with a long, curved sword over his head. The other is a Ral Partha rock troll, which I've never seen before (and I thought I had seen them all). He's big, lumpy and looks very dangerous. I likes 'em, likes 'em a lot!

My package arrived safely a couple of days ago, and it brimmeth over with mini goodness! There are a couple I'd been drooling on for a while, and a couple that I'd never seen before but which are very cool and interesting. Thanks so much Nathan and generous sponsors!

My box of goodies, 9 miniatures as price in total, arrived today :D.

I've gotten a somewhat classic WOTC D&D cyclops... always nice to get the monster count in my collection up.

Got a HHG 1995 sci-fi dude with gun.

Relevations miniatures : The king (already got this one in my collection but I'm sure I can make someone happy with this)

I have a very nude and very very hairy armed succubus on a lamppost from Assasin.

A ESF Gael kneeling knight (which happens to be one of my favorites of the line)

Then I got a warmachine wraith witch Deneghra. A version I had not seen before. Got like a bezillion pieces (well might have exaggerated that a bit)... but I really like it.

Got an MSB toys, definatly male, (anatonically correct for the race I assume) rock elemental centaur. Definatly unique figure, what you get when a centaur and a rock elemental get together. Heavy guy too :)

People who know me well enough know that with dwarves you can't go far wrong. I love the little vertically challenged War Crow guy I got.

BUT.... saved the best for last... the thing I really love (and which is whopping huge and heavy) is the dragonblood "The hunter". I got both basing options and weapon options with it. Woot...Cool.

Signed,
Widely grinning happy girl

I got my stuff today too!

Let's see.... A really cool monk with a mace from ESF. I love the facial expression on him! Thanks a bunch for this one Mick! :D

Then I got a fairy of some sort from Assassin, a centaur from Crunch Waffle, a Warzone mutant and the Bishop from Revelation Miniatures (beautifully sculpted!).

From Privateer Press I got Major Victoria Haley, which is a very impressive sculpt. I never really liked it until I could finally hold it in my hand and look at it properly.

From Corvus Belli I got a really cool Warcrow mini (Ulan Yih) and a starter pack for Pan Oceania (6 minis) for the Infinity game.

The true icing on the cake was a massive resin kit from MSB Toys, an übercool frog stanging on a wooden raft.

Thanks to all the sponsors! I'll send mails out to everyone asap. :)

Since everyone else seems to be posting, I thought that I should chime in. I received my surprise in the mail, too.

- Ubo Gutrot, Dwarf Barbarian by Dungeon Crawl Classics Miniatures. I quite like this one. I am partial to dwarves, and would not have known about the Dungeon Crawl Classics Miniatures line if I had not received this one.
- Human Glaiver & Human Marine Chainmail mini's.

Not the legion of mini's some people received, but I am really happy that I received anything considering my entry. Gives me the incentive I need to try for the next contest. :)

BTW, I ran the same mini in a local science fiction convention contest. Placed second in the Fantasy/Single category!

Does anyone know when we will know more about the next Wyrd contest?

I have said it before, but want to repeat it one more time, thank you very much Nathan and companies that donated prizes!!!!!

Very welcome, and pleased to see the goodies getting in peoples hands.

Next contest is already planned out, sponsors are already signing up (though I haven't officially knocked on doors yet, just given notice of the next theme) and it'll be announced in about two months (don't have my calendar in front of me to look at the actual dates that were determined).

Be sure to send off thank you notes if you haven't already, appreciate it.

oooooo I got mine! a super heavy package revealed to be Kyra and Lavarath, A big old dragon from reaper! wow!

Also got a very cool "the King" from Revelation minis.

And I got the two Wyrd minis I ordered too, which I love to bits as well. The chopper on killjoy is broken but should not be too hard to fix.

Big thanks to Nathan again! it was a very fun competition! :D
