Chaos Furies
As I totally loathe and hate every form of Chaos Harpy/Fury EVER produced by GW I looked for something else. In my Mage Knight time I loved the Solonavi (http://www.wizkidsgames.com/mageknight/figuregallery.asp?factionid=12) for their transparant colored plastic, so these came to my mind. In one of the latest sets were the 'Soulshredders' and these were perfect for my vision of Demons. I went to Ebay and found these models cheaply ($.40 a piece) so for about 5 euros I had a unit of 7.
Another advantage of them is that I only needed to paint the metallics...and since it is only Warhammer I dediced to keep it easy:
-Basecoat silver: chainmail
-Basecoat gold: Shining Gold
-Wash silver with Purple ink and Blue ink
-Wash gold with Flesh Wash+Brown Ink+Chestnut ink
-Paint their demonic eyes.
I did take some extra time on the bases, adding some pumpkins and pumpkins leaves and mushrooms from 'Busch Models'.

(this one was taken in front of a lamp to show the transparent plastic)

Chaos Marauders
I have bought the Black Tree Designs Drakul as I despise the plastic Marauders with their rediculous proportions. These had to be simple and fast. Here is the recipe:
-White Primer
-Drown them with Brown Ink+Fleshwash
-Drybrush with Bleached Bone
-Drybrush with White
-Paint metallics (Shining Gold and Chainmail)
-Weather/Shade with Tamiya Clear Orange+Chaos Black
-Highlight with basecolor of metallics
Now I only have to do the banner...and I have decided to do a spiderweb design with in the middle a BIG bleeding eye.

All in all I am very happy with the result for the time:
one evening for the marauders and one afternoon for the Furies

Those look rather good, table top quality, but hey, you managed all this in two days and now you can field a nice looking force on the table. First time I've heard about the pumpkins and Busch, have to look those up for Halloween miniatures.
