Ultraforge came on the scene about six months back and has been making some extrodinary resin cast miniatures of a larger scale. Their newest one, the Giant, goes on sale September 12th. Very nice.

That's a BIG miniature!
Seems like it needs something more like a pelt of skins or something to break up all that flesh. Very nice though.

Face is fantastic but the body seems all wrong to me. ( I should know too being a touch on the heavy side myself.)

Yeah, his upper body is too long, like there's something between his chest and belly that normal humans don't have. But since it's a giant, he don't have to have the exact build like a human. So I don't mind that too much.
It's the trousers I find strange.

Yeah the lower body is wrong, probably not enough folds in the skin for such a big guy, and the left hand appears unfinished....there should be a space/gap where the thumb wraps around to meet the fingers, although that may not be possible to replicate with resin, not sure.

It's good I guess, but it doesn't do anything for me. I like Sophia's other sculpts a LOT more.

Like his face, but the rest does nowt for me either. Not in the same league as the other releases, but still good.

Well here's what's next from Ultraforge

It's a re-sculpted version of the first release that was 'frowned upon' by a certain company. :hmpf:

while this isn't a mini I want to paint, I actually do like it a lot. I think the different body dimentions are a very nice touch and make it something interesting and unique. I do agree though that there is an aweful huge expanse of flesh on this one.
