Staying logged in ..

Hey folks,

Some people are having trouble staying logged in and posting comments in the gallery. We've found a bug or glitch which isn't allowing people to remain logged in when using Firefox as a browser.

Not sure how this has become a problem, but we're looking into it.

In the mean time, Internet Explorer works just fine, so use that as an alternative if you have the option. I'm looking into Netscape, Opera and other browsers to see if this glitch continues with them.

that reminds me of the exact same problem I had after the Halloween contest - I was at a relative's house and trying to respond to a comment from someone, and I kept getting shunted out. I thought you'd turned off comenting once the contest voting was over.

I think it might have been firefox on that computer, but I could be wrong..

Yeah, Firefox is giving us troubles and I haven't figured this out yet. I'm hoping to rope the web guru into some major upgrades for the software (I would manage to kill the whole site I'm sure if I did it) which, hopefully, will take care of the problem.

I use Firefox 1.0.7 (German) exclusively and have no problem at all.

I keep getting kicked-out when using Firefox or Konqueror. I have to keep clearing the cookies for this site to be able to re-login. I think that the problem is with the cookies. The site seems to add both a .wyrd-games.net and wyrd-games.net cookie (notice that one has a leading period), which I think is confusing the authorization code.

This part of the site seems to be okay, it only seems to the the gallery forums that cause trouble for me.
