Here's my Ramos! It's not my best paintjob, but there's a few things I'm rather happy about. I guess the photo could be better too, but I'm too tired to re-shoot it. Maybe some other day I will.

That's looking damn sweet! I agree with you though, better pictures, cause I know for a fact you freehanded the whole inside of that jacket.

Great setting for the miniature, OSL and I like the little spider bot.

Thanks! :) I'll see if I can make that freehand show up on another photo sometime. This is the biggest OSL project I've done so far and it's been a bit tricky to get things look right when the green light reflects on coloured surfaces like the skin, for instance. I've tried my best to get the light reflections get the right colours.

hey Anders,

that looks awesome, i lke the colour scheme and the atmosphere , dark atmosphere too, but with a different feel, amazing job

btw, want to see the freehand of the coat, as I didn't realized at first sight, before reading nathan's comment, so when you have the time just a quick shot of the coat would be great:D

EDIT: Oh, and the beautiful base is from Groundforge, I should mention. Cheers, Scott! :)

Love the color scheme, the OSL, the base, the freehand, actually everything !
For a first try at OSL, it definitely came out real good; :thumb:
this is again way out of my league...I dunno why I keep on painting...

Cracking paint job that mate, I love that source lighting.

The paint job is less dark and tortured than your usual work but the OSL is quite inspiring and that base is really great! Was the freehand to give that mage edge?

Yes, I wanted some subtle hint of his magic abilities. But I still wanted the coat to look basically like a trenchcoat, so I did it on the inside.

Very cool! I've got one in the works, but I'm a little nervious about the source lighting effect.

Thanks! :) The source lighting can be a bit daunting, but just take your time and consider carefully where your highlights should be. It's easier said than done, but if you work carefully and meticulously you'll get the hang of it eventually.

I started mine last week and decided to do brighter colors and a purple flame. Not sure how its going to come out but its a start.
