I figured CMON has a WIP thread, why not one here, too?

And I'd rather post my wips here since this place isn't as "crowded". I feel at cmon, anything I post there "gets lost in the shuffle" soon after posting it. Also, it's hard getting good feedback there since I'm not a particularly excellent painter, but not horrific either, so I rarely get comments.

So here's my latest wip, chosen solely because he was the one saying "Paint me!" to me loudest, and giving me odd looks. He's not my only wip, but the only one I can post (glares at FF).

Basically, have only done his face, and mostly the stuff under his cloak, which still needs a little more attention. The cloak is only just begun.

I understand what you mean about being lost in the shuffle...

Is the face a greyish color?

Michelle, overall its a good start, but I think you should take more time to place your highlights. The plate-mail could be a wee bit more shiny and the face could use some highlights on the cheeks, brow, and nose.
