My latest work

[Max Paint]

I know, I know, I showed Loryn everywhere I could, but nonetheless he's the only miniture I painted of which I think it's worth to show on a painting-homepage ;) Besides that I'm a very slow painter, so there a no "newer" or "better" miniatures, I could show to you.
If you've seen Loryn in other forums (e.g. Jenova), forget this post as fast as you can and wait a few weeks for new miniatures ;) If not: I'll hope you'll enjoy it.

I like the color combination and the base on this! Love the eyes on the inset picture up top, but the very first picture makes him seem a bit bug eyed (or maybe he got goosed!)

I agree, the color combination is very nice, and the freehand adds that extra little bit that makes this a nice miniature.

As for the eyes, I think he looks a bit 'fey' overall with the very angular face and the top picture does make the eyes seem a bit funny, but I think that is due to the glare of the light on it.

I took a close-up pic to show, that I painted a light-green iris, which you can't see on the other pics. I also painted the area around his eyes very dark. Perhaps a little bit too dark.

Ah, I see now. Very pale green, I think it gets lost a bit in the picture though I think it must look very nice in person.

Very nice. As I told you in the Pm, I really do like this base (and the mini) very much. Nice color choices as well.
