Here is a fountain I just built. It is made from Sculpey and a little bit of green stuff, along with a few GW bits for the fountain faces. I saw some tutorials online on how to do this stuff and it worked out pretty nice for the most part. There were a couple of bumps along the way since I'm relatively new to making terrain and its all a learning process, but it was fun and I'm happy with the results. I included a pic with minis in it for size reference.
Here it is:

I hope you like it!
p.s. sorry the pics aren't too great, I just took some rather quick shots and didn't put a whole lot of effort into the photography end of things.

That's a very nice looking fountain. The water effects look really cool. Did you use fishing line for the running water or something else?

Yep, just the old fishing line trick, and I used the 2 part clear epoxy with a slight bit of thinned out blue paint mixed in.
The most unusual thing about it is the pipe looking thing coming out of the top. I was planning on putting a banner on top with "ours" scribbled on it, but the banner was way too huge. I played around with different things being placed in it, but everything seemed to detract from the rest of the fountain. So now its just got a random pipe coming out the top end of the structure that serves no purpose (but I do like the way it looks better than any other way I tried it).
Looks good, I particularly like the splashing effect.

Its actually TheBugKing who hooked me up with the link. He's involved with the group called "Terrain Thralls" and they have a fantastic website with loads of terrain tutorials.
I used the Menoth Fountain Tutorial:

edit: and this is where I got my original inspiration:

I didn't follow their tutorial for anything but the water effects. Everything else was just a case of asking around about materials and experimenting.

Not completely sure on the next one, but my plans overall are that I want terrain that will be able to have a function within the game.
What I mean by that is that I plan to make an adventure/campaign-based mod for Malifaux for my playing group, and having a fountain like this can serve multiple purposes, such as the obvious health restoration.
I want to start kinda small in size with my first few projects and then build up from there. I would like to have a whole gaming board worth of stuff, but the main thing is that I want it to be customizable for the different sessions. Generally a whole board looks better than separate pieces arranged together, but I really need the functionality.
Any ideas on a next piece would be nice, but I would like it to fall in line with the Malifaux flavor.

Scarab7664 is absolutely amazing. His work really puts mine to shame.
The fountain mentioned in the tutorial is for a board that he has sculpted an entire flagstone floor into. The sculpting work he does is down right amazing.
On topic:
I would think that having some sort of small soul stone mill would be a handy piece to have for an adventure based project. See the Cryxian Soul mill for a place to start:

I would think something a bit smaller would probably be appropriate but it fits the theme well.
A water tower would be another nice project that is relatively small. Scarab hasn't posted the tutorial yet but here is a picture to start with:

If you have questions with that I can probably answer them.
Once you start scaling up there is always the train station option. I think I'll be adding one to the Mine Ravine project. It fits well with the Iron Kingdoms theme as well as the Malifaux theme. It is really convenient that both realms are similar in theme though Malifaux is definitely cast darker.

I've definitely considered the train station idea for the future (especially since my "your mission if you choose to accept it" idea was based off the rail system).
Before I do anything, I really need to get Seamus and his warband painted up. I also want to make him a little diorama display case (about 4" x 8"). And since I'll be in the resurrectionist frame of mind. I've thought about maybe doing something along the lines of a small mausoleum like:

I figure it could be used as Seamus' secret stash for soulstones and other valuable possessions. The soulstone mill and water tower are good options too, and the end results look nice.
