Makes a lot more sense when you see it painted! I definitely like it and it is really original. But, I'm not sure I will ever paint one.

It's a nice smooth paintjob, but I think it could have been done much grosser. :) Maybe more purplish (brusied) flesh and more oozey stuff.
Just a thought.
I'm a bit let down by the paint job, I'd expected different colours of flesh and overall grosser and stuff.

I think the paintjob makes the miniature more readable like this, with a slightly understated colour scheme. The subject matter makes it gross enough, IMO.

Interesting mini. Does the creator work in a padded cell?

Seeing it painted definitely makes me want to get one now.

I agree with Anders here.. This is a great "studio" paintjob... nice and simple on a crazy sculpt .. the paint itself helps lift the whole piece and definitely shows the sculpt off better than the original pics of the sculpt.. ( it's always a tough decision when you get the first print of a mini.. do you go crazy and do infinite freehand and complex lighting crazy colour blends ...?? or do you keep it simple to highlight the sculpt??) .. job well done and I look forward to having a play with one of my own..
