There are some great new figures here. I always love Werner Klocke's sculpts and I think the goth sorceress is fab.

Terezinya is great, though I wonder why they did her again. She was released in a different pose a couple of years ago...

Because you are a minature elitist, and a lead snob.

(or because there are only like, four miniatures that are really good...)

That's kind of a Reaper thing, I guess. They have some established character names and every few years put out updated versions of those characters. Duende didn't post the pic of this one, but there's also a new version of Sarah the Seeress coming out soon. There's some that are on their fourth or fifth revisioning.

Yeah, I agree with Rob. Everything about Reaper's products seem average and "luke warm" to me. They seem to lack the ambition to create something out of the ordinary.

I think the majority are somewhat average, but the stuff by Goumon and Klocke and some of the stuff by Weibe more than make up for it.

I agree with that sentiment Anders, and I'm guilty of it too when it comes to Reaper.

But, I wonder how much of it is because we are 'hard cores' who have been jaded by the next best thing, while Reaper has made their bread and butter by being generic, predictable, and simplistic?

Oh, to be able to look at these Reapers with fresh new eyes...not the old cynical ones I have now....
