My first bit of News Monkey News... Brandy New Jungle Bases from Micro Art Studios, sculpted by Piotr Kupper - they come in 40x40mm, 50x50mm and 50x100mm sizes. I think they're super sexy (and wonderful for people like me who have serious basing skill issues). It's just too bad I don't paint jungle minis too often.

ya know I'm not usually a fan of these kind of things.. However these are nice .. Jungle stuf is always a challenge just because of the time it takes to make it and these are a great way to do it....

I like these, just wish the small one had a critter on it too.

Maybe it does... just a very small critter:)

It has a dead Conquistador critter! Does that count? <grin>

I think it might actually--are two little orange frogs on the right side of the base (one by the stump and one under a leaf in the very upper right corner)? The green dots look like eyes to me, particularly on the one under the leaf.

Zooming in on the image is a good idea apparently.

The big base has a blue lizard right in the center of it and the little base has the two frogs that Jabberwocky mentioned. So they do have critters on them!

Great for the Lizardmen players, it's just a shame there aren't 20-25mm bases included. You can have a look at the full range in their shop (http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/index.php?language=en).

Now I see the frogs, cool! Thanks for pointing that out to my old failing eyes guys.

Working with their ruined factory bases, I have to say these guys do some nice work. they won't be at Indy, but Q-Workshop's booth will stock some of their products.

Ooo, thanks for the heads up Keltheos, I'll have to make a note to stop by Q-Workshop then. I'd like to get a look at their Cthulhu dice in person, also. I wish they'd sell sets of 6s for that, that would be super cool to use in Arkham Horror!

nice bases. and it shouldn't be too difficult to put a miniature on it - as is the case with some of their other stuff.
