Stan Winston passes away

Stan Winston, the man responsible for such masterful creature effects, such as the Terminator and the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, passed awa today at the age of 62:

That's a bit of sad news there.. a true genius and although not the oldest of men to pass at least he has left a legacy that will be long remembered...

I was out of touch the weekend that happened and only just now found out, as the death of Tim Russert was a bigger deal on TV. Its quite a loss. Space and the future will be a little less scary without him.
