We still have lots of neighborhoods with basements flooded, but my house is dry (thankfully). I think I noticed my internet connection was back up when I left the house this morning.

I've lots of friends who have completely lost thier houses. But my area has seemed to get off lightly compared to the folks in Cedar Rapids (the next big town down the river). The river hasn't even crested there yet, and its already 4-10 blocks over it's banks.

Anyhow, I can't do the scores yet, we are still missing a ballot.

I'll get to it as soon as I can. Sorry folks!

Hope things are OK Jim saw some pics and certainly looks like a rough old time out there.. Floods are the worst.Things still aren't back to normal round here after last years bad floods and this years few early floods in the area..To add insult to injury in Sheffield where a load of houses were flooded due to an overflowing reservoir (my aunties included)residents are now being warned to conserve water as supplies are low..That notice served to people who are still trying to dry out their houses.. madness..#

I've got 2 of the judges scores tabulated....just waiting for the last one.

i'll be leaving work soon, and I really hope I have internet access at home...otherwise I'll have to drive back to work to give you guys the next update!!!
