Fire Genasi

Hey, everybody!

This latest is an old Reaper mini, I think. It's been sitting around for a while. I wanted to paint it up as a Fire Genasi, a race descended from fire elementals, hence the strange red skin, fiery hair and all. I did her armor with metallics, but I wanted to give NMM a go and tried that on her sword blade.

I'm not a fan of the skin color, but it is very well done, as well as the clothing. That being said, it IS a Fire Genasi and it fits right in, right down to the clothing and the weapons that it is wielding (mostly arabic based individuals right?).

Vicky! nice interpretation of this one. Something funny is going on with the stomach area on the sculpt which distracts me...

As for your nmm, a great first shot, you're getting the hightlights in the right places it seems, keep working with it! :)

FF: Yes, her sword and attire sold me on painting her this way. The fire genasi seem a desert people to me.

Eric: I know what you mean. I think her belly button was placed to high or something. Thanks for the NMM encouragement. I'm trying the technique again on two wererats this week.
