I stopped by the local hobby shop (models and trains, not minis and games) on my lunch break. I needed a few things for work, and superglue was one of them.

And then I saw it, in a new spot alongside the many many other brands of superglue.

Foam-compatible superglue.

I grabbed a bottle and threw it into my basket.

It actually works, too! It glues plastics just like regular cyanoacrylates, but does not dissolve foam. I tried it on both white EPS foam and extruded pink foam, and it worked beautifully. The only "drawback" is that it doesn't dry as quickly when bonding foam. It works just as fast on things that superglue is usually used on, like plastics and metals (heh... and skin...) but sets much more slowly on foam. I'd say about five times as long on foam. But, there is a foam-compatible zip kicker as well, and it sets the glue instantly.
