The model itself looks great. Cant say I like all the heads all over it. One or two heads, but not a lot of them looking like he has chickenpox breaking out.

I don't like the over-proliferation of heads either. He just seems a bit bland and the profusion of heads was a way to make up for it. Kinda disappointing as AoW figures are usually more interesting.

I count 5 skulls and 3 heads, and that is just the front.

What a way to go overboard...

O-O i love it, it' s whaouwww, perhaps the picture is not take in the good direction and the character looks " eavy " ( doesn' t have words for explain, bas english :(

Quite like the sculpt, hate all the heads and skulls. And apart from anything, the skulls look really "cartooney" and ugly. With far too long teeth and stuff, If I do get it I'll be removing all that junk.

I don't mind the skulls as much as those heads on the ax. But agreeably, a little overkill going on here.

this has been mentioned on the avatars forum, people asking for them to be removed from the horns, also he has wierd fingers for some reason

I see it coming. The heads under the axe are really weird. At least AoW listen to the feedback so let's hope that just like in the case of the goblin king, the heads will disappear.

Too many heads and skulls (and ugly skulls, too), and what's up with his hands?

Even though I`m noy huge fan of Felix`s sculpts - Love it! And I think it will look great after casting (for me common problem with AoW minis is that they`re suberb before casting, while the completed and casted model looses a lot). The heads on the axe might look better when the hair will be attached (it`s a WIP after all). But I agree those skulls on horns are plain stupid - and ugly.

@Przemas
This one is not sculpted by Felix! ;)

Blind dumbass I am - just noticed that the sculptor`s name is written on the pic :D

Can't say I like all the skulls/heads all over him either; looks like his fashion consultant was Skeletor...

I agree with your comment about the quality of the castings... I have been a bit disappointed with them, and wouldn't consider painting one without doing some major polishing and milliput-washing first (which means, I haven't painted one yet... :().

The dwarf wasn't to bad, but the fine detail didn't take very well. Probably would have been better in resin.

The Orc shaman one is decent enough though. I even contemplated starting it the other day...but other shiny metal caught my attention.

You're so impressionable, Matthew! ;)

Usually we call that distractable. :)

No I am just impressionable...and distractible I suppose!

But I'm young, I have years left to finish painting all my models!

That's what we all told ourselves once...

See, my justification for buying any model that strikes my fancy on top of the two unpainted 40k armies, half-painted Blood Bowl team, fully unpainted Blood Bowl team, unpainted and unassembled Flames of War company, and unpainted Khador forces is that sooner or later, I'll be retired. All of these models will be long out of print by then, but paint and brushes will still be available.
