Hi folks

If you haven't noticed, the site has been having some issues lately, along with the web store.

We went ahead and did a server move and that took care of our speed issues and got everything moving really quick and I was quite happy about that. Unfortunately, the new server seems to have gremlins as yes, it was moving fast, but it hit the gutter and fell over into the ditch pretty much immediately after that and we've been up and down the last couple of days and the webstore has been kicked in the ribs and is whimpering in the corner.

So ... we're moving the server, again and the tech support guys are monitoring it and going over everything .... again. Hopefully this time it'll go smoother and we'll be back up to par again.

In the mean time, if the site seems to be slow or you post something and find that it isn't there at the end of the day, its because it got caught in that black hole of server moves.

Sorry for the troubles folks, we're trying to make it all right.

Ah, so that's what happened to my defense speech of the greatness of Nicholas Cage!

No, that was just the universe telling you that you're very mistaken about the 'greatness' of Nicholas Cage. ;->

I could have bought your explanation, Wren, if the Universe hadn't also removed Supervike's rebuttal to my speech! ;)

I think that the universe just decided that the term "speech to Nick Cages greatness" was too dangerous to allow to exist

The universe moves in mysterious ways.

I didn't write that in my original post... and the post above, where I DID write it, is still here. :poke:

I'm going to use the "diehard" defense, as stated in his post above yours.

Just a heads up.

We've fixed the SQL errors it seems, but now we have an issue with paying through paypal at the moment (working on that now). It seems that you can process your order through our Credit Card processing though without any problems at all, so for folks wanting to, CC is the way to go till I get this paypal issue taken care of.

Thanks for all the hard work to get it fixed, nice to see things working like they should again (for the most part) :)

It figures. I put some money in PayPal and now it doesn't work. And of course she'll clean out Paypal right before you get it working. (If you keep having problems I'll tell her to, maybe that'll help.) I also placed a ban on credit cards (heh) so I can't go that route. How about a money order?
