Continuing with our showcasing of the artwork that goes into shaping the Wyrd miniatures line, we deliver to you the Witchling Stalkers.

These deadly creatures are minions of the Witch Hunters, twisted and tortured through magic and forbidden ritual. These one time practitioners have been turned into deadly predators who burn with rage towards all things magical and have been the bane of many a hunted Witch or Warlock.

Sculpted by Steve Saunders, these sturdy little fella's will come in a package of three and each is cast as one piece.

And before anyone can go on about 'cricket bat' swords, no, they aren't. You'll have to wait till the studio releases next week, but I think you'll find the swords are lots of fun (they run in the fashion of the fella with the two swords).

Looking promising, near enough to dwarves for me so I'll likely buy these.

I definitely like these little guys and I really like the fact that they're one piece. They should be fun to paint.

They look like jawas on steriods and too much caffiene. :D

Will they be difficult to paint being one piece? The top one looks like he might have some hard to reach nooks and crannies.

Cool overall, though!

Dunno, you know I don't paint a lick these days. Looking at it I would say no, that I don't think it would be a problem in the least.

Ask the painters that have gotten ahold of it so far though. Anders, Rob?

I've got them in hand, and they don't look too problematic to paint! :)

And they do look mysteriously like ninja dwarves, good thing they're not, we might get sued by all the other people who've done that idea ;)

They are an absolute breeze and a pleasure to paint...
If I was gonna say any problem it is the initial deciphering of where claw starts and finger ends.. That puzzled me at first then I engaged Brain..
Honestly thought they are some of the best minis to paint I have had a hold of for a long while...I love em. The character is all there and the details are nice and clean..seriously cool

edit.. Oh and everything is easy to get to with a brush just make sure if you spray undercoat to paint the inside of the sleeves nice and dark before painting the robes.....

for me, these were the type of mini that looks cool in concept, then you see photos and they're just awesome, but then you get them in hand...and you're just...impressed with how they came out. Then of course Demonherald paints them up and it's to the next level :)

Yeah! You can't say something like that then keep us all drooling here!

And when did DH become a part of the Wyrd painting gang? Congrats to him!
