Clansmen of Lamedon
The Clansmen of Lamedon make their homes in the untamed foothills of the White Mountains. Undisciplined and preferring a wilder way of fighting, such folk may be unsuited to the ordered battlelines at the heart of Gondor's armies but they are formidable skirmishers, using their long blades to great effect.

Suladan the Serpent Lord on Foot and Mounted
Suladān was already a renowned chieftain in the armies of Harad when he ventured into ruined Kārna and found the sword of Mardat. Since then, the name of the Serpent Lord has once more become a famous one throughout Harad, and grows further still with each victory. Curiously, the legend of Mardat tells how the original Serpent Lord was slain by a rival in single combat - Suladān may yet share the same fate.

Serpent Rider
The Serpent Riders of Harad are the most experienced of Suladān's cavalrymen, using their poisoned lances and scimitars to scatter the foe. Few can outfight them, but to flee is folly.

Yes, excellent stuff. I'm, of course, biased, and unlikely to find very little in the Lord of the Rings line that isn't excellent..oh, wait, thats not true, I'm not a huge fan of Gondor, outside of the Fountain Court guards. I think its all the other fiefdoms that I enjoy, and the Clansmen fit the bill.

You know, the lord of the rings stuff would actually be really nice if it weren't painted in that cartoony style of GW's studio paints. A more naturalistic/historicals aproach would look a lot better on them.

Just my two cents.

I agree completely. I find the LoTR stuff that I like the most, painting-wise (not the sculpts themselves) involves stuff that looks closer to what is depicted in the movies, and that the figures that they create that aren't depicted in the movies (such as fiefdoms of Gondor) should follow that premise for painting style. Throw my two cents in there with you, Skya.
