This little (or not so little) beauty, sculpted by the ever so talented Jaques-Alexandre Gillois, will be released by JMD Miniatures (http://www.jmd-miniatures.com/) in September. I have no idea how big it is and how much it's gonna hurt my wallet, but I do know it's the top priority when it comes to miniature purchases at the Salon de Jeu in Paris in October! Painted by Romain van den Bogert.

I know its 54mm scale, but not sure of the actual size.

But your right, its fantastic.

Fantastic sculpt. Paintjob is nice, looks a bit rushed but the ambience is spot on.
Must get one of these.

It's 10cm high and 10cm large (with the tail). It's also a 10 piece mini : top of the body, legs, right arm, left arm, head, 2 parts for the tail, 2 chaines, and the base.

@Cédric: Will this be a metal mini or a resin one? Any info on what it will cost?

@gi6ers: Well, for starters... it's not a dwarf! ;)

It's cast in resin. No price has been anounced yet.

Well, at least, for a big chunky mini like that it will be cheaper in resin than in metal.

@Anders : I figure you're already planning some space in your luggage to bring it back from France ;).

He he ;). But you know what? I'm almost shocked you didn't demand that it wield a big axe :P.

More seriously, anybody figure out the base? The shape and colors are cool, but a bit unearthly IMHO.

:p: With claws like that he hardly needs an axe, I'd say! He looks more primordial and beastly without weapons, IMO.

Perfect for a demon then! :D Looks like volcanic glass or something... pretty cool! And the way Romain has painted it is perfect!

Ah so the base is precast, its excellent. Like Anders, I too should be getting one in Paris.

I actually hate the base. Much too simple and does NOTHING for me. The miniature itself is more than awesome. But I hope they will offer the miniature without base too, because otherwise I won't order it. I don't want to pay for such a huge (ugly) chunk of resin.
