Lovely large miniatures from Andrea - just saw this Orc and the paint job on it is wonderful.

Anything with the spit painted has got to be good.

I really like it - very well done. The only niggle is the legs, which looked great on the 'nude' WIP, but which have come out looking a little odd now he's dressed.
Other than that, he's awesome and I want one :D

This is a very wonderful piece, very lifelike in the painting of it! I shudder to ask, but how much is this?

it's stunning of course, but I'm with scott, the legs look too short. And with a long torso it actually has the body dimensions of a midget basically

It's a shame, because it did look very gorilla-like when it was naked in the WIPs. The clothing has spoilt it for me.
It'd look less exaggerated without the loincloth too.

I have the 'Spartans' last stand' diorama. Here are some pictures of what I've done.

Go to the home page, Andrea Miniatures (http://www.andrea-miniatures.com/eng/Index.htm), and look at the figure of the month. It's a huge diorama and oh boy do I want it. Of course I'd never be able to paint it. That is a cool feature they have there with the magnifying glass enlarging parts of the picture.

Great face on the ork and nicely painted.
I never realized orks had extra vertebrae though. I guess that's why he needs the big armored belt since there's a cubit of space between hips and rib cage.
