Elfball the Boardgame

In Elfball you do just that. Assemble a team of up to 12 players selected from a myriad of fantasy races and pit them against your friends in a fantasy rugby styled football game. You manage it all. From how many cheerleaders to hire right down to which direction your player will move. Your team learns and grows with you, so you can coach a set of rookies right into the halls of greatness. Every turn is a challenge and every roll of the dice is a chance for glory.

Elfball comes ready to play and takes only minutes to set up. Do you have what it takes to reach the goal?

The boxed set contains:

Elfball playing field (23.5 inches square)

* 1 Sheet of cutout players with 12 Red & 12 Blue cutout holders
* Elfball full colour Rulebook & Quick Reference sheet
* 1 White Metal Elfball token
* 6 Elfball challenge dice
* 1 Green transparent Impact. D6
* 1 18” Passing string
* 5 White tracking counters
* 2 Yellow movement counters
* 1 Green Velveteen Pouch
Prices vary based on whether you buy a loose board game or add teams to the deal which reduces the price from £26.75 to £16.00 for the game.

It's nice to see them come out with a game for their minis. And Rugby no less! It looks nice, and it appears to have some potential. I'm happy they will be at Gencon this year, I'll definitely check it out.

We'll be in booth #325 (a mechanically assisted stone's throw from Wyrd's booth) and we will have a full time person doing demoes for Elfball.

Looking forward to seeing anyone who stops by.

Remind me that I want to get a Stumpy and Shredder (Stumpy's more agile brother shown previously on this forum as a green) over to Nate.

Anyone have a suggestion for a very small glow light with a 4 day staying power to give this guy (if you take the bonepile out) a proper evil glow as he is meant to be useable either hollow or with the bonepile.

I'm glad this board game is finally finished. $15,000 and countless hours spent working on it. I'm hoping that folks who play it feel the "gamer spirit" we tried to put into this game.

I read through the rules for elfball today, and it looks like a lot of fun. I'll definitely swing by for a demo. I'm thinking I might just be making a hefty purchase at your booth.

As far as a glow you could pop a throwie minus the magnet inside him. One should last the whole con easy, but you can make a couple just in case. Check it out.

Great suggestion on the Throwies. I was able to find a way to get the parts to make 10 of them to my house by Friday for $25.00 ... Thanks!

If any pick up the rules and get a chance to play a couple of games a review would be nice. For all of us poor sods that cant make it.

Tabletopgamingnews.com has offered to write a review after demoing the game at GenCon. I'll post a link when they do.
