We've just added a new section to the website called 'Articles (http://wyrd-games.net/vbarticles.php)' which you can access through the community links on the front page. As there are several talented and helpful individuals out there who are quite helpful in sharing their tips and suggestions about the miniature hobby, we decided there should be a dedicated section for it, including an option to rate and review it.
Everyone will be able to participate in the articles section if they so wish, guests or members, though in order to rate, review or submit an article you do have to be a registered member of Wyrd. It isn't much of an issue here at Wyrd with rudeness, but to ensure that articles get a fair rating, any ranking or reviews which you post will be public knowledge - no drive by voting here.
Now the section is quite bare at the moment, I've taken a few articles which have been posted here in the tutorials section and put them into the Articles and hope to see many others join it here in the near future. In order to post an article, it has to be your work alone, or, if you are translating from its native language to English, you must have permission to do so and give full credit to the author. The works submitted remain the property of the author, Wyrd Miniatures is only providing a location in which to share them.
At the moment I am currently changing around a few more settings within the program, primarily I am working on it so that you are able to upload your pictures direct to the server. In the mean time though, you are welcome to submit your articles with your photos hosted remotely.
In order to encourage participation within the articles section, each month the staff will pick an 'Editors Choice' of the articles that have been submitted, if there are several that really just via for attention there may well be multiple winners. The winner of the Editors Choice will receive a $10USD gift certificate which is good for use in the Wyrd Online Store and their article will be given prominent display in the articles section.
