2007 Newbold Challenge Launched


Newbold world just officially launched the 2007 Newbold Challenge in support of Children in Need. :-)

The Challenge mascots, Little Miss Ponytails & Smokey (sculpted and painted by me :) ), are on sale in the Olde Worlde Shoppe and all the sales income they generate will be donated to Children in Need. Purchasers will be able to enter them in one of the Challenge figure painting competitions.

The Garrity Gals & Perk, who feature in another of the Challenge's figure painting competitions are also on sale in the Shoppe. Once again all the sales income they generate will be donated to Children in Need.

I participated in the last Challenge, and it's both a great cause and a fun contest. I like both sets of figures a lot (Cindy's whimsies and bards!). I also think the non-Newbold figure categories are interesting this time, being divided up into the two main painting styles rather than a particular subject matter.

Cindy, super job with the figures and the painting. The face of Little Miss in particular is a standout!

I might have a go at this! I thought about it last time, but it ended up with me forgetting about it until it was too late.

And Cindy's minis are great! Might have to try them out...
