Dwarf King WIP

I started making a Dwarf King, here are the first tow - veeeeeeery WIP - Pictures.
I plan on doing the Head today, then still some finishes on the axe and... well, I can't see shore yet.
But anyway, just wanted to share him with you, so you can give me suggestions in some directions.

Little Update:

I was going to say that the axe looked a bit crooked, but now you have put some more work into it it seems to be on the right track. Also, the scales on his armour looks a bit "soft". Now, much of it is hidden by the face and beard, but in places they are quite visible, and would IMO benefit from looking a bit sharper and "harder".

What are your plans concerning the head? Will he have a helmet?

I think you're doing fine here and the miniature will certainly be a characterful piece when done! I'm not big on dwarves (pun not intended...), but I see potential here.

It's coming together really nicely! What happened with the axe? Are you re-doing it, or just removed it because it was in the way?

Between moving furniture and renovating my place, I found some time to finish him!
I really like him and hope to get him cast soon.
Just trying a new caster...
