Hey folks,

Duende brought it to my attention this morning that ya'll couldn't upload your own custom avatars and I have to admit rather shame facedly that I finally figured out why - simple little 'button' to push on my end.

Either way, you now have the option to upload your own custom avatars instead of the 500+ I've got setup for those interested. 80x80 pixels and under 20k (which is very easily done).

:crap:

FF, I do like that you have a nice huge selection of avatars, but I do like having my own since it gives it my own personal touch. But, I'll use one of yours until I decide on what I want to make for a new avatar since the one I use at CMON is getting old..

Glad I could help out! :five:

Ahh good to know how big my avatar can be, when of if I want to display it for the comunity. :goodbad:

Besides, I'd be lost without my avatar. Not that I have much more of a clue than he does.

Just added a fresh, drawn by myself, new one for me. Gotta use something else besides my goblin-lady head I use on all the other foruims.

Thank you. It was a bugger to assemble to be honest (lots and lots of editing) but I figured having some options would be nice.

Nice one Cindy - have to post that in here one of these days so we can see what you have (hell, need to post your gallery or some of your doodles on the site).

The drawing is actually a quick sketch of Isis I did for fun while cruising the Nile (yep the real one in Egypt) just before dinner. But it did work well as avatar.

And I wouldn't mind posting some doodles some day on here. Till then you are all fee to check out my elfwood gallery for a selection of my fantasy drawings:

I kept feeling bad that you went through all the trouble to make a nice avatar selection and I wasn't even using one, so I changed it back to one of yours now.
Thanks, FF!

As for abuse .. just a small bit, no visible bite marks please.

hey! you try constantly scanning across about 120degree arc field of vision and focus in on 1 target to shoot, let alone try to tie your shoes...notice they didn't have shoe laces?

Oh, and only 1 person to abuse Nathan at a time...unless he's done his stretches this morning :D

The easiest way is to go to the LINKS button above and click on 'Edit Avatar'.

Changed my Isis avatar for an eye avatar (yep that's my left eye, so in the picture my nose would be left of the picture)... not sure which one to keep... Strange staring back at myself hahaha :vb_tongue

I still like Nathan's avatar the most.

It must be living in Holland that does it. My eyes (except for the blue) usually start looking evil after a couple of days visiting down there :bounce:

Well I thought about The Netherlands in various ways... but never saw it as the birthplace of evil hahaha.

Birthplace of evil living, anways, lol! Yes, I,too, can fall off the wagon in Amsterdam.

I don't think you should even put the Netherlands and evil in the same sentence.

Is that so uncommon then?

marineboy
09-29-2005, 04:35 PM
It's uncommon that my ten-year-old thinks at all!

No, really, croquette, bami blok, nasi blok, sate croquette...I never set foot in restaurant in Holland ( unless it's Indonesian).

But really, Holland is great. The people are more open and less reserved than here in Denmark, it's always refreshing to visit family down there.

The though that the Amsterdam city government has allowed shops selling hallucinogenic mushroom products to open does seem quite advanced. Still, while it's not my cup of tea, I find it a reflection of the Dutch openmindedness. Bravo!

Not only in Amsterdam (though there it's about 10 times as common as here in Eindhoven)... ofcourse it's not a all goes thing, and there are laws and rules concerning soft drugs... but yeah... it's a lot more open here. Not that I ever used anything... Not my cup of tea either.

Here in DK they're the politicians are still discussing the decriminalisation of hash..at the same time the police are using strongarm methods to close down the hash market in the Christiania section of the city. Denmark considers itself on of the most enlightened states in the world, but well, it's not on this front.

Looks around her own room... hmm does alcohol count? If so my room isn't drug-free at the moment... It is pill and smoking goods free completely though... and will remain so.
