Very nice work Klute - have a miniature or two myself that this would be nice to try out on. Of course, that assumes I have any time to paint any time soon.

Ive been promising Sally the tutorial for ages and kept redoing it becuase of bad photos. dark skin really is a pain to photo nice, for me anyway.

I actually have one of these miniatures and have been thinking about painting her lately. Was going to do a bit of a softer chocolate color, but I really like the dark african look you have here.
There aren't that many black miniatures are there? I know of the ones that Hasslefree has done, the ones I just saw from Ilyad in a thread around here, and those awful, but funny, Thugz miniatures. Any others?
