Elmore Dragons Set # 5 From B&W Artwork by Larry Elmore
Our first good-aligned dragon is finally here. This will be Bronze Dragon from what Susan Wachowski is telling me based on her thoughts of the B&W original artwork.

Dave really did another outstanding job on this piece. Each wing is two pieces that will fit together nicely to give a half folded effect. Larry loves this piece....as a matter of fact he thinks this is the best dragon ever done based on his artwork. Full B&W Elmore artwork is down below.

Lovely indeed. So many models, not enough $$$ & time to paint.

very nice. Bigger then i like to paint (I do love small dragons), but really nice. Aboutas classical as you can get them.

Oh what a lovely piece. So accurate to Elmore's Dragon style.
And I've just got my overdraft cleared as well.

This one has a very regal, majestic feel. Excellent work.

I had the opportunity to see this one in the green 'flesh' at GenCon last year and fell in love with it then, even though it is much larger and a bit more multi-part than the figures I prefer to paint. Now that my exercise in painting a dragon for IP has emboldened me, I'm almost sure to get him. (Though I'm afraid I'm also thinking of getting an airbrush to go with him to paint giant surfaces faster...) PaintMinion's doing another Dragon Diary chronicling the painting of this one http://www.paintminion.com/ddiary.htm.

Too huge for something I would take on. Very traditional style of dragon, no crazy fins or 3 heads etc. Crisp and classic. I like it.
