Some of my favorite authors seem to be landing TV series this year. Namely Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files and Tanya Huff’s Bloodties. I hope to see more Fantasy Books make it to prime time.

Very cool - didn't know about Bloodties though I'm glad you said something, I'm going to DVR it now.

As for the Dresden files, been watching that since it came out and although I like it, I really am a fan of the series of books and I'm rather miffed that they've switched out so much neat stuff in order to make it 'fit' into a TV show.

Ah well, just have to get past that and its still an enjoyable series.

LOL....I miss Dresden’s beat up old VW bug..the jeep doesn’t make it. But I like the new Bob.

I watched Bloodties because it was a sexy vampire show and as the story line went on, I said to myself I know I have read this in a book. Then after the detective say she had failing eyesight, then I knew where. :)

also in the books both Murphy and Henry where very short and fair looking, with Henry swinging AC/DC.

Ooooh .. you're kidding! I just read all those back to back three weeks ago (except for the last one which was in hardback only and I hate buying hardbacks). I was a bit worried they would be a bit foofoo when I picked them up but I loved them.

Thanks for the headsup on that.
