Future plans include a Frost Giant and a Fire Giant, but I'm not yet sure whether we'll do the Cloud and Storm Giants. Also on the way is a small range of old-school D&D-style Pig-faced Orcs by Bob Olley.
And their ebayshop:

I think on both giants the feet are a bit funny? Prefer the stone giant though, looks quite cool.

Very nice! I think I'll get those.
And, Eastern Front, you mean like the old Minifigs orcs that were the inspiration for the pictures?

Callum, I see what you mean about the feet. They do look a bit wide in the toe area.
The hill giant's face is full of character, although he doesn't look paticularly mean or threatening. He looks more like somebody's grandpa. ("siddown, kiddo, lemme tellya about the war, from way back in tha good ole days...")
I think the stone giant looks a little like a bald Leonard Nimoy. :D
P.S. I don't like the paintjobs on the skin of both, that brown in the crevices looks awful.

Oh my god!
It's Don Knots and Don Adams!
I like the face on the stone giant a lot, really has a lot of character. They're both nicely sculpted and and have a fun old school vibe. Though the feet looked weird to me too straight off, like the sculpting wasn't as clean there. They also have a Demon Idol in their webstore straight from the cover of the 1st ed book, complete with a pair of gem eyes. Very cool!

Henrix i seem to recall minifigs doing orcs but didnt know they inspired the pics for the book I mentioned..also theres another pic I remember in the blue covered basic D&D manual from the boxset..it will be cool to see these as I have always wondered what they would actually look like done like a pig head...the orcs that even wotc do now are a far cry different then what was concepted then.Even the old Heritage lotr and Dungeon Dwellers I think got made from the old LOTR animation.

I really like these two--takes me back 20 years to my teenage years. They remind me very much of the old D&D Monster Manual giants.

Hm, I wrote a reply earlier but that must have gone missing, or I just failed my posting skill check.
Anyway, I actually went and done what I have been planning to do for quite a while, but last i thought about it Gygax was sick - I asked the old man on his Q&A thread over at EN World.
And evidently I was wrong - Dave Sutherland did the original design, and Minifigs did the minis off those illos.
I've got an orc and a hobgoblin (I begged them from a friend many years ago), I'll try to get some pictures up one of these days.

Henrix, yep I just checked the Blue book sure enuff Dave Sutherland did it..I dont have the Swords and Spells on hand but do have Eldritch Wizardy and Daves style is pretty recognizeable to the time period
very cool id like to see them, I might have to dig through the old dragon mags.. I seem to recall that minifigs did black and white drawings at the time when Armory sold them?
