I just had to post this as I am a sucker for angels. I like this one (though i don't like the golden detail things on the wings)

Oooh, I may have to get one of those, and paint him up for my mom. My mom's got a "thing" for male angels although she likes them to look a bit more pacisfistic, I might have to remove the sword if I get it for her. (doesn't make sense to me, not like every biblical angel I've ever heard wasn't also armed and dangerous, if anything, I should make his sword 'fiery')
Oh, my poor wallet, all this new stuff I want to get.... :(

Very cool! But that must be one hell of a pin through his foot. No way that such a small area could support such a heavy weight otherwise. I wouldn't buy it purely for such a small "dangerzone"

Yeah well. while they are absolutely gorgeous this line tends to be a pain in the ass to put together.

No, not the assembly, but keeping it upright and the metal in one piece. Same goes for the Confrontation Ophidian with HUGE umbrella (http://paizo.com/image/product/catalog/RKH/RKHOPMA01_500.jpeg). I heard from a store owner that it is too heavy for the soft metal Rackham uses and it will first bend down and then break off due to its weight. Another "cool" story is the Viridian Saurians (http://www.urbanmammoth.co.uk/acatalog/13112.jpg). The weight of the beast is too heavy for the leg and the raised leg has to be supported by something or else it will bend down forwards. I've seen it happen to mine.
Sometimes manufacturers should think more of things like gravity, metal properties, etc. ;)
But they're sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place on that with everyone crying out constantly for more dynamism and coolness and less static standing around poses. ;->

I think the paint job is cracking. Absolutely stunning job.

But they ARE a pain in the arse to assemble! ;) At least the one I got... the elf that was first out of this series.

They are a bugger to assemble. Volgor was a right pain.

And I've been thinking of getting some Andrea's soon. Still, "bugger to assemble" or not, they can't be much worse than that black dragon I just did. Hmm, I may wait for this angel to be in stock before I order anything though, I'll figure out support for him when I reach that point (hmm, idea forming already...)

The sculptor posted this on the garage kit forum I'm on. This is a well done sculpt, and I will be buying one. He has the right look for a warrior angel - after all, the first thing they say to mortals is "be not afraid", so they should look intimidating.
