I like it. I wonder what it's made for as well. But why does the guy kneeling have KL or KE (or whatever the second symbol is) on the soles of his feet?

Its KF for Karl Franz, he's the Emporer or a God of somesort.

They are also a mirror image, so the footprints reveal the correct lettering.
