Saw some new greens on Magnificent Ego's site. The horse and rider are just plain cool.

Still a wip as far as I can see... but it looks very promising and close to finished. I like the horse so far. The rider looks good but I just ain't drawn to helmed heads.

it does look pretty cool so far, lots of potential there, I am a little confused by the thing coming off the neck of the horse forward....just looks to have a different dynamic than the entire rest of the piece...

I was wondering about that too.... It was the first thing I noticed, that whatever-it-is coming off of the mane is going inthe opposite direction than the cape.

And just because I'm picky about equine-related stuff, the hooves on the horse aren't right. Thsi is a normal horse hoof:

That poor horse needs a farrier before being ridden into battle!

Well, the whole green looks to be in the first stages (judging by the crap on the base and the very rough cloak) so maybe they'll get that fixed before final production.

Looks like I'm going to be the spoil sport this time. The mini does absolutely nothing to me (and the design errors mentioned by Eric bothered me too). Besides, it looks like they're following the GW Wood Elf scheme ... is the miniature business stumbling on the same creativity problems that the music and movie industry have met since 10 years?
