Bane Knights, Tartarus and Dark Brethren

Hey,

I finished my unit of 10 Bane Knights and Bane Lord Tartarus last Friday. As I own 5 armies by now I am speedpainting all my armies (except Khador...my first love). I am a sucker for new techniques and thus I wanted to try something new for my Banes. I remembered the dipping method and it sounded like an excellent way of quickly painting 11 miniatures. So I went to my DIY store and bought 2 cans of wood stain and started the madness...
12 Hours later 10 Bane Knights and Tartarus were finished. Now that was a painting speed I am happy with. The results are excellent for gaming I think. Click on the small pictures to get the normal size.

Those bane knights are mint! I almost bought a box the other day for my cryx army, but they were a bit to expensive so i didn't bother.

That's the good thing about being a Press Ganger. You get product for promoting the game :). Until now I have collected $900 of WARMACHINE and HORDES with Press Gang points only.

I agree with Anders! When I think "dipped", I think of blotchy brown tyranids, these really look great! I'm duly impressed!
