NEWS: Upcoming Drune goodness from Rackham

These badass Drune cavalry minis are soon to be released by Rackham. Now, anyone familiar with my painting knows I'm drooling all over my keyboard as I write this... :vb_devil: The pictures aren't the best, but you can clearly see these are BRUTAL!!

Those are frickin' sweet! Only thing I don't care for are the body parts all over the horses - take those off and I think I would be interested in one or two of them.

They move up to 35cm in one round. That is incredibly fast. The combat stats are pretty good - nowhere near a character's stats, but impressive enough to kill off regular troops easily and give the elite a run for their money. 4 Initiave, which is pretty good, should allow them to hit first most of the time.
Bestial charge is devastating after the new rules especially; they also cause fear in the enemy when they charge AND will probably kill in one or two hits with strength 11.

And that's without the additional skill they can get. Pretty pricey pointwise though. I can definitely see one or two of those replace the Formors I have in my warband...

Yeah, but I'll be playing Drunes too! ;) I've got 5 painted Drune minis, 4 in progress and another 8 waiting to be painted. Plus I'll be getting these for sure.

ok, when they sell these, the box should read "these were made for Anders to paint" if they've done their market research. They just scream for your paint, I can't wait to see it.

Hehe... I think the French version will be released in November or possibly December. English versions usually come out 2 months later. I'm not sure I'll have the patience to wait for the English ones, though... :explode:

The horses have to be the best I've seen in a long time, not the skinny no meat elf ones you see prancing around all the time, but something with muscle and is a trained warhorse.
