Remember some time ago, when we were discussing Lame movies?

Slither came up, and I just got done actually watching this movie (netflix is great)

I have to say it was pretty damn fun to watch.

It stars Nathan Fillion (from Firefly) and has just the right amount of tongue in cheek and horror elements to keep it interesting.

Certainly not GREAT movie material, but a very fun instant cult classic type movie.

Anyone else see it?

Slither is FANTASTIC! Just watch the trailer and you know what to expect. It is fun combined with gross...and to me that works (the Evil Dead triology is in my top 5 of all times for a reason ;)).

I watched slither a couple of weeks ago. VERY funny! I love the bit where he lashes the fella straight in two and his body peels away from itself lol

Slither is a great movie. I knew it was going to be slightly tongue-in-cheek and that it was more of an homage (of sorts) to the classic horror movies of the 50's and 60's.

Speaking of "bad" horror movies, has anyone seen Feast? Another great tongue-in-cheek movie.

I might have been tempted to watch it because of Nathan Fillion but.... ew!

Its a bit like zoolander, watched that and hated it, then watched it as a satire and i couldn't stop laughing.
You have to realise its taking the p%$s out of the horror genre to really find it funny, otherwise its just a crap horror.

the girl swollen up with the little parasites big as a small storage building and then popping like a tick was pretty funny
