Has anybody got the game? (vikey has i think(?))
Is it any good?
Tempted to get it for gaming, saves the hassle of painting an army, i like that idea.

Yeppers, I got it.
The basic set is VERY basic, rules wise, but that was good for me as I am not a seasoned gamer.
I liked the set quite a bit, felt I got good value, thought the minis were decently painted.
I've only played through a couple of scenarios, and my 10 year old daughter kicked my butt in each one.
I guess the jury is still out though on the overall....The 'new sets' that are coming out, along with the advanced rules seem pricy in comparision.

Hhhhmmm, is it an alright game? Because if its complicated like confrontation then il not bother, but if its good fun il possibly think about getting it.
Its sods law, that if you have children, or a little brother or sister, and you put lots of effort into building armys and reading rules. They will ALWAYS win. Gggrrrr. lol

Yeah, it seems to be an allright game, but the rules that come with the Operation Damocles are very simplistic. Just covering basics, such as movement shooting, etc. There is an advanced rules set on the horizon.
Again, how it compares to other such games, I am at a loss. I've no basis to compare.

Just out of curiosity (I'm really interested by the answer here and not making fun at all ;)), what wargame system rules do you consider fun but not too complicated?

Rezolution, WARMACHINE, HORDES have quickplay rules that are quite easy to grasp while they have enough depth to keep you interested in the long haul. So far, AT-43 seems TOO simplistic to me. I'm interested to see how Rackham handles it. So far they are the first to tackle a new game this way :)
