I like it quite a bit. Is that one of the miniatures that you got from the TT? I know I sent someone those miniatures.

Either way, very well executed and I like the use of the decals. I'm going to have to pick some up here in the future and give them a go. Great color choices.

I like this one, the hair the most funny enough, but the shoes just don't do it for me, even though they are well executed.

i highly recommend them ive been using them alot recently and find them much better than GW ones not to mention the range James has got so far (and adding to all the time)

Been a bit busy the last few weeks what with my GD entry and a little something i was working on for the "Rotten Harvest" comp.
But ive been dying to paint this baby up since i saw her.
Originally i was going to do something completely different (and still might as ive got another) but she sort of evolved as she went along.
anyway without more rambling here she is....

Good work, especially considering it was done in 4 hrs. The white top looks a bit flat (in colour depth, that is... ;)), but otherwise I think it's a good solid paintjob. :thumb:

Merged all the threads into one so that we can keep things clean and simple and find things easily. Brings more attention to the individual painter as well IMO.

Great work on all the above, the zombie children are my favorite of the bunch.

These are all fantastic Mr. Lonewolf! I love the Grid Iron Girl the most I think, lots of sass that you've brought out and the rest of them are just great. The children are a bit too gorey for me, but I like the story that you are telling with it.

Fantastic stuff mate! Must order more heresy stuff, the new sci-fi range is great!

Have you got a netherlord 2 order in yet?...speaking of which has anyone on here ordered one yet? The new heresy werewolf looks good too!

Who's bases are these?

How do you do leather? Personally I use GW snakebite leather with a brown wash followed by a black wash...

LoneWolf
10-15-2005, 03:58 PM
the bases are from Nexus Games (http://nexus-games.com/browse_dept_items.asp/categ_id/1/parent_ids/0/Name/Scenic_Bases)

yes i have pre-ordered a NL2 woohoo can't wait for that bab, i'm already working on its base in anticipation:hail:

dark leather = VMC german cammo black brown highlighted with VMC leather brown.
light leather = snakebite leather highlighted with bleached bone and a brown inkwash

Heya Lonewolf!

I'm a big fan of your stuff, and enjoy seeing it over on CMoN. Great to see it here too.

I have thought for some time that you seem to be the 'master of gore' but I don't want to pidgeon hole you into one thing. You do everything wonderfully, and have a great style.

I especially love the dark skin tones on the Nubians, that is wonderful looking. The sci-fi dude with the Punisher emblem on his shirt is fantastic. I'm also a bit green with envy about that Dark Cardinal...Is that character available anywhere??

So i had a good rumage around my box o lead (tm) and pulled out Ray.
I had so much fun converting him i did 2 other little conversions at the same time (you'll have to wait and see what they are  )
Anyway i had to cut and reposition his right arm, cut away the cricket bat and cut the chainsaw off ashlee. the i had to resculpt his right shoulder and some hair also i added some straps to the chainsaw.
hope you like it.
Enjoy!

Once again, a top notch job. I think I would like to see all of these miniatures on one huge diorama that as the Campbells go out and whack the heck out of the zombies.

Either way, a damn fine job. Might just have to paint up these two here in the near future - as soon as I get some of that darn Tamyia Red.

These are SO great! I'm with Mr. Father up there, I think these would be wonderful in a large diorama. You should take the whole Hasslefree line and turn them into zombies and vampires and have all of your hunters out in one bit kill-a-thon!

These would be great for Grimey Games Xtreme Zombie Hunter game as well! I bought that a bit back when it came out and it is a fun little game which these would fit into. I'm using plain pewter though.

Great job! More!

well Lonewolf,

because of your non stop zombies, I have gone full fledged zombie crazy....

Found a great new comic called "THE DEAD WALK" its a black and white series put out by image. Its more about how people survive after the zombies have struck....anyhow the little zombie hunter kid REALLY reminds me of one of the characters in the book. Both are very well done. Hasslefree is putting out fantastic stuff.

The hockey stick lady is wonderful too...hopefully she gets a 'post' bite sculpt.

EEK! Lonewolf has become among my favorites because of his gratiutious use of blood....I'm shuddering to think he'd paint a 'my little pony' type mini...(of course it would be an interesting challenge)

I agree about that bitten arm. That is more convincing looking than most FX in zombie movies. It really is stomach churning...

Thanks Cindy:peace:

I'm really happy with hoe it came out in the end.
I bought the box set of the 2 films last week and this scene stuck in my head, quick rummage through the Big Box O Lead (TM) and off i went!
Considering nearly all of it is either white or yellow you would have thought i would have undercoated it white wouldnt you?!?! Doing everything from black took ALOT longer but what the hell, you live n learn:)

I think you must not be human, but rather some sort of strange painting machine....

Of course, I also think the Loch Ness monster causes crop circles, so what do I know?

(excellent by the way) That is a particularly nasty looking greenskin. Is that a Kev Adams by chance?

I have to agree that this one is more fun to paint than you would think. He's surprisingly big and chunky and I have certainly taken a bit of a shine to him since painting mine. Might even get another to do up in NMM...

Base looks great - think that is honestly the best part of this. The miniature, well painted, but looks just a bit 'static' for the wings and the pose, maybe a leg repositioned or possibly even an arm to give something of a movement. All in all though, nice job.
