There is a new company in town (Golden SKull Games) and they will be releasing their first game soon...a First Person Shooter. Here is the information I snagged from TabletopGamingNews:

Here's something I picked up at TGN:

Thanks to Ben Brownlie for bringing these photos of some new miniatures from a new company called Golden Skull Games. The figures are for a game called Ultimate Tournament and Ben posted three images of some of the first figures sculpted by Drew Williams.

The company’s site is still under construction and doesn’t have any details of the game but Ben has mentioned that it involves three races (Aegis, Human and Gloth) and the gamplay appears to be based on first-person shooters like Unreal Tournament. As such the miniatures are designed to fit multiple weapons which might indicate that the game will allow you to swap weapons or upgrade them.

The game will get its official launch this year at GenCon Indy.

Good stuff. Seein that Ben Brownlie is overseeing the rules (at least, that's what I think) is a good thing. Not only is he a very cool chap, he also helped develop games like VOID. So I guess it will be an awesome game :)

Go poke Ben Brownlie on the 'Forum of Doom' or on FU!UK ;). He looks like the mastermind behind this thing.

What an interesting concept. This could potentially be a very fun and unique game. There is no other game out there at all like this, and I can think of some very cool things that could be in a game like this.
I like the robot sculpt, the other two don't do to much for me though. I'll definitly keep an eye on this one, and check them out at Gencon.

@r2-j1: I would check out DOOM: the Boardgame and its expansion if I were you. DOOM is an EXCELLENT game and the Deathmatch and Capture the Flag mods work really well. Excellent value for the $!

This one seriously rocks, but I think all the other ones are butt ugly.... as a certified rules whore I am interested though :D

By the way, for a great ruleset that kinda gives you an FPS feel, can be played with only 1 player and is hilarious too check out Xtreme Zombie Hunters: http://www.xtremezombiehunter.com
Ever since I playtested it I loved it. Played today in fact :D

XZH? Great concept...poor rules. Too many luck factors involved (for example, the whole character creation depends on chance) and his has too many loopholes (making a nigh unkillable character is quite easy).
I bought the game and we played it once. We had some fun, but left it there.

(making a nigh unkillable character is quite easy)

You are welcome to give me some tips - our characters rarely survive our games (we had only a single game where nobody died :D) ;)

Does anybody have an idea when golden skull games will release their stuff? The shop page is completely empty...
