Hey guys. As a little test for myself, and I couldnt sleep...I decided to write a ruleset.

The rules I had set for myself for this exercise was 1 night, 1 page.

Would love to hear what you think. Obviously since its on one page its not really detailed system, but I think it might be a good beginning...take a peek and tell me what ya think!

Sounds like fun.
Like the special rules.:thumb:

I have never gamed "properly" mainly becuase of the depth of rules and something like this would help me out.
Looks single player friendly too.

Those rules remind me of the Vampire: The Masquerade rules. That's not a bad thing, mind you ;)

Now I go to re-read and edit them.

THe concept of this whole exercise was to create core rules for a b-movie style game. Then a variety of offshoot rules with more specific information could be tailored for teh game for instance Core Rules, then you download the Aliens Module because you are going to have your characters fight off an alien invasion of their small town. Then, you download the Zombie rules and its explained the the alien invasion that was fought off just recently had atually caused the dead to begin rising from the grave, something to do with radiation or such.

Anyway thats what I was thinking last night. But to be honest I dont think the rules are playable....anyone want to try them out?

Ok the rules have been updated. Still one page, although adding to it is becoming a chore LMAO.

So now we have 2 new stats, Brains and Body.

BRains now drives the Fire Pool refresh rate, I was going to call it Wits, but wanted to stick with the whole B stat line theme. LOL Figure ya need to have some quick wits to keep firing off the weapon.

Body works against damage.

So any thoughts...suggestions...like, dislike?
