I kind of like Siobhana and Sielendria; they look like interesting sculpts. Some of the things that can be done with the chain pack are kinda cool. Reaper has a gallery with a few examples: Chain modifications gallery (http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/ChainPacks)

Chains! I could use those for an idea I've had brewing.....
I like the sea elves, the vampire chick, and the incubus. The mage girl looks just too damn perky, like a cheerleader turned sorceress. The elf archer's arrows are just too big, and the rest just don't do anything for me.
Not a bad mix of figures this time.

Ah the Elf with the MASSIVE arrows is back, and HUGE hands to match.

A cheap piece of jewelers chain would seem more user friendly and be more cost efficient....
I like the sea elves quite a bit, and the vampire is nicely done, less caricatury than a lot of vampires I've seen. The frogmen are fun.

Some of these I like (Siobhanna falls into this category)
Some of these I'm not too keen on.
One of these is an absolutely ridiculous figure (I'm looking at you, elf dude)

I really like:
Both seaelves and the incubus.
I guess, the frogmen warriors are a blast to paint. Those turtleshell shields are a nice idea.
The vampire is ok, the dark dwarf too.
I donīt care for the lupine (canīt compare to Confrontation Wolfen) and the female mage.
The thug is bleh and the elf, Iīll try to forget reaper let this one slip into production ...
Btw. A new reaper catalogue (Casket Works) is out and already available from their website.

I disagree here. to scale chain is hard to find. They are all loose links so can't be bend to shape like these and can only hang down. Also it's very hard to paint true chain as paint rubs off easily and even more so due to the loose links. Ofocurse you could try to fill the chain links with greenstuff and while doing so try to keep it strong and in the right shape. But is that worth the time? Also these chains seem to be of a different design then just smooth links and they are easier to attach end pieces to.

Ah yes, Cindy, I see your point.
I have some scale chain and I have only used it for 'piles of chain' or 'chain hanging down'....its worked well for both of those applications...but if I did want a chain whipping around...it would be a problem.

I like the froggies quite a bit!
Some good stuff in there too, but nothing that stands out to me.
The sea elves are neat if you have an underwater diorama....

That was the problem with my diorama idea. I was trying to use a chain from a broken necklace of mine which was a good scale size but was too limp for me to accomplish what I wanted with it (yes I know that's an innuendo-laced sentence!). Also, the bare metal would probably look odd against the paint of the minis. So I'm gonna have to get some of this as soon as it's released. Whomever at Reaper thought of this should pat themselves on the back.
