Here's what the next Federation mini from Rackham looks like. It's a Daïkinee elf, and it's only available to members of the official Conf-federations.

The paintjob is not fantastic, but I think the sculpt is awesome. I'll get one for sure! :D

I sat here and looked at it for the better part of ten minutes and I just can't bring myself to like it. Seems a bit like a colt that hasn't learned to use her legs yet. Not a great description I know, just it seems 'off'. Just my take on it.

is that the official rackham paint job? Did they fire all their good painters?! It's not horrible, but it is a good bit worse than their standard paint job.
As for the sculpt, I think that the paint job make the bare leg look very odd, and throws it off for me, it's hard for me to tell if it's due to the sculpt or paint job, I'd like to see a better painted version before making up my mind.

Eric, both previous Fede minis have gotten pretty horrible paintjobs. I don't know if they use other painters for them or just don't put as much time into it as on their 'commercial' minis. I'm happy as long as the sculpts are nice and I think this one is VERY nice! The last one was also very nice, but the first one was a bit bland.

I look at this mini and all I see are her HUGE feet! No wonder she's barefoot, I don't think they make shoes in her size.
:bored:

Too busy and oddly distorted. The usual from Rackham...
I can see how folks would like their stuff, but I'm not one of 'em.

I have to agree with Mrs. Duende and Mr. Lead, she is very awkward and if I had feet that big I would just die!
