Very cool models, both.. I especially like the Captain, which'll be released in february 2007.. :D

Not a big fan of the pirate, but the monster is cool! The base looks weird, though... what are those little black things it stands on? It seems the base provided with the mini is too small to hold it properly!

The Captain looks like he's one monkey away from being Geoffrey Rush.
The Teraph looks really cool. The only physiological thing I don't like is that the middle set of limbs join the body too close to the last for feasible range-of-movement.
The basing too is odd, looks like 4 tinier bases on one big base...(?) Surely that could've been done a bit better.
Still like it though. :D

Yes, the basing is quite distracting on that...

Yeah I think the teraph model is real cool, but they just got lazy on cleaning the feet. Frankly I expect better out of a studio model from them.

Maybe that is so it is removable and they can use it without the big base? I dunno....
I like them both. That monster is sweet.

nice piece, but why are some claws different colors from other claws?

Because his manicurist is different from his pedicurist?
I think it may be because his first set of limbs are more "hand-like" and the two following sets are more "feet-like" and darker from being in contact with the ground more. The upper set would be somewhat cleaner until he starts ripping into some bodies. :D
Or maybe the painter's just crazy.. I don't know. :p:
