Hey everyone...

We over at Grimey Games are just about ready to release our newest Mini game called "Xtreme Zombie HUnters"...

What is it?
Well you create a Zombie Hunter for the new Television reality sport called XZH. Gain Sponsors (Think Nascar, Mystery Men), Earn Buck-a-roos and best of all Kill some zombies.

The game is meant to be spoofy and a quick play. Probably take about 2 hours with 2-3 players.

Anyhoo we are looking for someone who might be interested in playing and providing us with a battle report that we would be able to post online for other players to get an idea of what the game is like. we would be hoping for a lot of pictures as well. If you are interested please contact us at info@grimeygames.com

Note: The game will require quite a few zombies

Thanks in advance!

I've had a look at it folks - looks pretty interesting though I haven't had a chance to tear out all the pewter and play with the kids yet. If you've got the interest, give Frank a hand here, he is a good fellow.

I love Zombies. Therefore, I love your game :D Point me towards the rules (couldn't find them on your page) and I'll see if I can force... I mean convince some people to play with me.

@MOsch: You know I'd play it with you, at least once. ( If you read the rules for me).

How can you call it quick play, if it takes 2 hours? Not exactly quick in my opinion.

You have a point there Sakura - I would call anything from 15-45 minutes quick play, over that, well that's a game date it seems.

Well let me put it this way...when playtesting it took approx 2 hours that was with Hunter creation and discussing rules.

So an actual game after that would probably take an hour...still long by the standards here I see, but when I game I usually play for 6-8 hours at a time. Lately its been a lot of rp aside from testing the XZH rules.

If you want to do a battle report please email me..the rules are not available for download...I will also need you to agree to a non-disclosure form as I dont want to much talk prior to release...Just incase those battle reporters find any other indescrections.

So email me, I will only be able to let a few people test for battle reports.

Thanks guys!

It is :D I know I'm not allowed to say anything, but I am going to plug this: When it's done and available, you'll be hard pressed to find a better ruleset for a low price. Seriously.

Mosch feel free to talk about XZH now, as the release date is October 12th I see no harm in talking about it now.

Thanks for the great comments about the game.

Also wanted to let everyone else know that there is some artwork posted on the website, you can see the Cover of the game as well as a couple interior shots. The page also provides a description of the game for those Zombie enthusiasts out there!

Come check it out at the Xtreme Zombie Hunter site (http://www.grimeygames.com/index.php?xzh)

I started to play this with the kids this weekend before 'mom' put a stop to it by putting everyone to work, but it was fun from the little that I managed to get into (through character creation). Kids kept wanting to know if they could be the zombies though, especially my son who kept dive bombing his sisters for Brraaaaaainsssss.

I found that cute as hell, even if my daughters didn't.

Good to hear Nathan!

As for getting to play the Zombies...everyone gets a turn to play them, so tell your son to get ready cause he will have his chance to eat his sisters Braaaaaaaains!

With the finished product you wouldnt have had to make characters if you didnt have the time. It comes with three pre-generated Hunters ready to print and play!

The finished product also has about 8 more sponsors to choose from and a Heck of a LOT more artwork then the version you have currently.

Can I ask which Sponsor you chose for your Hunter?

looking forward to its release! I would have volunteered to playtest but I know I won't have the time. Good luck with it!

No problem at all goblin. Thanks for the well wishes.

Right now I am challenging myself to write an entire game ruleset on a single page. We'll see how it goes...

Would anyone be interested in seeing it when I am done?

Can I ask which Sponsor you chose for your Hunter?

Son chose for me (he is five so we were doing our character together) - believe it was the Piggly Wiggley one (or its rough equivalent!).

Sounds like a good use for that Bag o' Zombies I saw. There is this bag of 100 25mm plastic zombies out there for sale. I laughed, they weren't bad. Done in clear plastic too. I can't remember who puts them out.
