Is there any way to make the Iron Painter galleries a bit more user friendly? The main galleries page that leads into them doesnt update, so to find out if something new has been added you have to go into the gallry itself, then the replies tally isnt correct so to find out if there's new commentary you have to go through each picture. And then there's the fact that everything is moderated and the moderaters appear to come through about once a day. This makes holding back and forth conversations abou the works in progress rather difficult.

Here's hoping something can be done.

Actually, likely be doing a forum software upgrade again here in the near future to the next major 'jump' in the software which I hope will eliminate some of these issues as well as make it a bit easier to make life difficult for spammers, create a bit of a friendlier setup with the gallery (and hopefully less work for myself and Maya - oooh, it has come such a long way too which is funny).

We'll see what comes of it - as always, just give me time, I've got to juggle this between Wyrd (buisness side), Wyrd Site and Forum, Wyrd Contests, Family and a job which I'm knocking out 14 hour shifts in now. Now if I could clone myself ...

I'm usually around multiple times a day to check on things, especially to check the galleries and comments that need approval. The past two weeks I've had a kiddie with pneumonia (and I'm currently sick now too) and no cable internet from the house for the past week, so I haven't been able to do any approvals for the galleries from home. Wyrd just isn't dial-up friendly enough to get to the galleries and comments. On the other hand, submission pictures and comments should be approved much faster by everyone who can do that once the contest galleries are up. Currently to approve pics and the like we have to go through the contest submissions as well to reach them (As every gallery shows up grouped together) and make sure the Iron Painter stuff only is made viewable and not the Wyrd contest entries.

If you have something in the Iron Painters that has not been approved, until the contest entries are posted, you can inquire to any of the mods or admins by a PM to Supervike or Frustrated Father to make sure it wasn't missed in the flood of contest entries and the rearranging & prep work for viewing going on in the back end with the galleries.
