Not my bird unfortunatly. He is from a zoo. It is me holding it ofcourse. It was suposed to land on the gloove... stay there for a few seconds and then fly off to collect his treat (a dead chick) from his handler. But he wouldn't leave for nearly a minute no matter how much they moved the dead bird to get him to fly back. He just stared at me... pretty cool (or spooky, I vote cool). Gave room for a nice picture as well (Ming-Hua (minimaker) took that one by the way)

I had a really good maths teacher at uni. He was a bloody genious! He could scribble down the most advanced proofs on the black board just out of memory and he could look at a proof and see if it was correct (just look at it, not read through it... pretty much like we can look at a word and instantly see if it's misspelled without going through all the letters). BUT, he sucked at mental aritmetics. He simply couldn't add numbers!

What a cutie, love the coat patterning. I like the Wyrd name idea. What we've done with our last couple of pets is the dog is a character from a fantasy book and the cat from a sci-fi TV show, so we have sort of theme there. My previous theme was to name the cats cat, but in a different language. Tichia ('tit chat, or little cat in French) and Kiska (pretty, nice cat in Russian). I'm bad at naming though...

As its a Boxer dog, call it Bruno, after Frank Bruno the loveable boxer!
Is he taking a slash on Nathans t-shirt in that first picture?

Oh, I say you name it Dog.
Or, perhaps, something more normal like, say, hmmm..
how about Seamus..or maybe Priscilla if its a female.
I'd say from that first pic it's probably a boy.
Billy's a good solid name. Personally though, I'd call it "Cat" just to confuse the hell out of it :D

Ended up naming the critter 'Toebit'. Mainly cause I kept hollering 'the damn thing is biting my toe!'.

That's a cool name. My sister once had a puppy that did pretty much the same thing, so she called him "Nipper". Of course, being the jerk I was then, I called it "Nipple"; it responded to that name, too.
Weird thing about that dog: it wouldn't bark at people coming up the walk to the house, but it would bark at everyone as they were leaving.
Sounds like it liked company and was sad to see everyone go.
Toebit is a cute name, though hopefully that's a habit he'll grow out of!

you wanna hear about flip flops.....imagine a chick with three toes one big toe and the last two wearing flip flops....now that is scary.

Okay, I'll bite.... That's me on the right side of the photo. I'm not very photogenic, but my distinguished dining companion to the left of me (my idol, Julie Guthrie) looks great. :)

...and this was a fun moment, too. This was taken in September 2006 in Paris. I met with Jérémie to pick-up Grallapoussah and hand-carry him home. (ummm, ... the "him" being Grallapoussah, of course, not Jérémie, <blush> LOL !) Obvious query: How crazy is it to fly half way around the globe to go get a miniature? Obvious answer: It depends on the artist and it depends on the miniature. :)

Hi Kathryn, welcome to Wyrd. You sure you couldn't fit Jeremie in the luggage too - I'm sure a quick rap to the head and some duct tape would have had him packed away in no time!
Hi Kathryn, welcome to Wyrd! Those are great pictures to commemorate some pretty cool moments in your mini hobby!

This is the only thing I could find on my compy right now. Me at the Formula One USGP a couple of years ago with two women who would have nothing to do with me if they were not paid to stand around and take pictures with fat dudes.
