I would like to take a moment and say thank you to each and every one of the companies and individuals that help and support the Wyrd Painting Contests. Below you will find the banners and links to the contest supporters and as prize packages arrive, I'll detail them here.

As usual, we'll be supporting our own contest with random prizes from our entire line of miniatures.

Manufacturers Award: We have several new miniatures lined up for the very near future. For the 'Best of Wyrd' the winner will have their choice of two miniatures from the new upcoming releases.

Wyvern Games is actually Valloa's Vale (I swear I'll get a banner changed soon!) now and is offering a large assortment of resin cast bases of which I've got a whole box worth of goodies from. Good stuff!

Manufacturers Award: Not a true MA in the sense, but Maya has come up with some VERY well done resin plinths for dioramas or for displaying pieces and has offered up one of the new ones for the Best Base or Diorama.

James as always is generous in his support of these contests and once again has sent along a nice package of goodies from his latest releases. The Queen (x5), The Pawn (x5) and The King (x5).

Yes, it's completely normal. All entries are hidden and won't be shown until the beginning of the contest. You can still upload your entry as nomal but you won't see it until voting begins. Also remember your entry has to be completely anonymous and can't be posted anywhere else on the internet until the comp is over.

Nothing wrong with noob questions, having noobs means a site is still growing, so we're glad to have you! Welcome to Wyrd! Good luck in the competition!

Alrighty, missing two packages that didn't make it in the post, but today all of the prize packages were put together and dropped off at the post office so everyone should be receiving their packages anywhere from the next couple days to a couple of weeks, depending on location and the surge of holiday packages going through the postal service.

Whew ...

Oh, and once again, if you have the time or inclination and haven't done so yet, taking the time to follow the links above to the sponsors and dropping them an e-mail letting them know you appreciate the support would be very helpful in securing sponsorship for future contests. Besides, everyone likes to be appreciated now and again.
